Accommodation

The National Rally Committee has sought to secure a range of quality accommodation options to cover the range of requirements for rally participants.  The Rally HQ is the Pavilion on Northbourne, offering quality hotel and apartment style accommodation and a spectacular atrium where the Welcome Reception and Monday Brunch will be located. Parking is secure, behind locked gates operated by a swipe card, in the open hotel car park.

If you are entering the Concours or have a special vehicle need for undercover parking, two other Rally alternatives are available - the Aria Apartment Hotel and the Clifton Suites on Northbourne (see details below).  However, before these can be booked you will need to obtain the booking reference number from Brian Johnston on 0409 780 861, as places are more limited.

Concours entrants seeking undercover parking are urged to book their accommodation requirements early.   All accommodation bookings are to be made directly with the hotels once you have the relevant booking reference number.

The Pavilion on Northbourne: 242 Northbourne Ave, Dickson

This is the Rally Headquarters.  The hotel is located only 2kms from Canberra city centre, in the shopping and dining precinct of Dickson, and central to all major attractions.  The Cafe Glasshouse is located on the ground level, open each day for a full buffet breakfast.  The Atrium Bar & Restaurant is open for lunch and dinner and provides 24-hour Room Service.  Three room types have been pre-booked:

     (a)  Deluxe room sleeps up to three ($150 per night);

     (b)  One bedroom apartments ($200 per night);

     (c)  Two bedroom apartments ($250 per night).

The Aria Apartment Hotel: 45 Dooring Street, Dickson

This hotel is an 8-level apartment hotel co-located next to the Pavilion.  It offers quality hotel/apartment accommodation with undercover parking:

     (a)  Aria Room ($175 per night);

     (b)  One bedroom apartment ($210 per night);

     (c)  Two bedroom apartment ($275 per night).

Clifton Suites on Northbourne: 100 Northbourne Avenue, Braddon

This accommodation is an apartment hotel, located approximately 1500 metres from the Pavilion. It provides one and two bedroom apartments with undercover parking:

     (a)  One bedroom apartment ($200 per night);

     (b)  Two bedroom apartment ($250 per night).

Note:Only very limited car washing is available at the hotels.

The Rally Committee is making arrangements with commercial car washing facilities so that entrants can clean their cars over the period of the Rally.  The main site will be in the suburb of Braddon, within 2 kms of the three Rally accommodation sites.  Special deals will be in place for Jaguar and Daimler cars.  Rally entrants will be kept informed about details of these arrangements.
